Makes it quick and easy to thread needle sizes 9 to12. Slide the compact case open to reveal a clever mechanism. The needle is inserted in a guide slot but needs to have the eye aligned with the threader pin. Gently press the threader pin lever and if resistance is felt stop ! This means the needle needs to be rotated to put the eye in the open position. Test again. When correctly aligned the threading pin will pass through The needle eye. Test again. Then, lay the thread over the V groove and press the lever to have the guide pin take the thread through the eye. Simply withdraw the threaded needle. IMPORTANT: if threader pin is forced down without ensuring the needle eye is aligned, it could cause pin to break. Replacement threader cartridge is available.
